I'm the lead pastor at West Park Church in London, Ontario. I enjoy writing and coaching other churches and pastors to achieve their fullest potential.
My passion is intersecting neuroscience with Biblical truth.
I love dogs, popcorn, pizza, watching movies with my wife, and reading.
I've written multiple articles and four books (the first two won a writer's conference award).
My newest book, on Christian mindfulness, is called Holy Noticing: The Bible, Your Brain, and the Mindful Space Between Moments (Moody Publishers), and hits the shelves March 5, 2019.
People Pleasing Pastors: Avoiding the Pitfalls of Approval Motivated Leadership came out Feb. 1, 2014 and was named by Outreach, Inc. as a 12th annual recommended resource in the leadership category.
My fourth book Brain-Savvy Leaders: the Science of Significant Ministry was published in April of 2015.
I've taught several hundred pastors in the US, Mexico, Nicaragua, Cuba, and Colombia on leadership.
